Beritech Enters Hillerød: New Facilities Dedicated to Pharma

The new facilities mark an important milestone for Beritech, enhancing the company’s ability to deliver high-quality solutions that help clients meet the growing demand in the industry.

Anders Lomholt, Site Director for Zealand, shares his thoughts on the opening:

"Having a local presence in Hillerød is essential for us to offer quick and flexible support to our clients. Our customers, particularly in the Pharma industry, are heavily reliant on strong networks and local expertise. This new branch in Hillerød will complement our existing facilities."

On Zealand, Beritech also operates a site in Kalundborg, which is expected to expand within the next few years due to high demand.

2024 has been a busy year for Beritech.

Hillerød is now Beritech’s seventh location in Denmark, underscoring the company’s steady growth and ability to meet evolving customer needs. Alongside plans to expand in Kalundborg, Beritech also launched a branch in Norway in 2024, focused on Seafood Processing – another high-demand area.

This growth reflects Beritech’s broad expertise and flexibility across sectors. However, the new branch in Hillerød is specifically geared toward supporting the pharmaceutical industry:

"We are seeing massive demand from the pharmaceutical industry, which is undergoing an exciting period of growth. Our capacity and expertise in turnkey solutions allow us to play a key role in this development," adds Anders Lomholt.

A Showcase for Pharma Solutions

The new branch will feature both administrative offices and a showroom spanning 875 m², serving as a central location for the Hillerød team and its clients.

"The showroom will be designed to showcase our solutions in a creative and unique setting. Here, customers can gain insight into Beritech’s values and core competencies – from quality assurance and certified processes to scale models of our innovative tank solutions," explains Lomholt.

The showroom is scheduled for completion a few months into 2025.

Rising Demand and Increased Production Capacity

To meet the Pharma industry’s growing need for capacity and speed, the new facilities will also include a production hall measuring 1,000 m².

This expansion enables greater flexibility to meet client needs:

"We are experiencing a sharp increase in demand for our Pharma solutions, and the Hillerød site will enable us to scale our production," adds Lomholt.
